Three weeks ago today!

Three weeks ago today (supposed to be posted yesterday) Brasen was diagnosed with diabetes!

THREE WEEKS- ALOT HAS HAPPENED IN THREE WEEKS!

We are still learning and growing- but God continues to shine through all the dark times! 

Sometimes when I try to put in writing how I feel about everything I can't describe it- The selfish part of me wants to be upset that MY son, OUR son, was chosen to have this illness; yet, as I look around God has done some pretty AMAZING things in at least my life, if not others around me including my family- but at least mine!  He has shown me the true God that he always has been, the God that I've always believed in yet not been strong brave enough to share about like I really should.  He's helped me overcome this fear, he's helped me stomp on what the devil is trying to do in my life, he's shown me that it's okay to be uspet but that there are WAY MORE IMPORTANT things to dwell on- worry about- let consume my mind.  I have this unexplainable H   P   Y

Feeling that everything will work out for the best! 

Brasen is starting to "understand" that he NEEDS this medicine to SURVIVE!  He is starting to tune into how his body feels and why he might be feeling that way!  I've had some amazing conversations this week to lift my spirits and we've had alot of activity in the last couple weeks! 

Brasen has done amazing with school!  He comes home in such a good mood, and with an excitement about the things they have done there or are doing.  We've gotten good reports from the teacher, so that is a huge plus and blessing! 

Audra and Cesar got married the weekend before last and Brasen was ring security!  He had so much fun! 

He definately didn't want Audra and CESAR to leave for their honeymoon but he survived. 

We lost our puppy Friday morning- Cain was hit by a car that morning.  WE sent Brasen to school without him noticing and let him know that evening when he got home.  Poor guy has taken it pretty hard but is surviving!  Judaen just can't understand it either- breaks my heart to watch them be upset over it! 

Brasen turns the big 6 TODAY!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRASEN.  Time has flown by since the day those nurses placed you in my arms- I didn't have any idea that day just how much I would love you- I thought I knew, but I had no idea!  You mean the world to your dad and I, and so many other people! 

At the end of the month we are participtaing in a walk, say "BOO" to Diabetes on Saturday, October 29th and Brasen is so excited about it.  He can't wait to do his part to help find a cure!  What a joy it is to see God at work in his life!  He wants to help others and see lives changed.  Pray for us as we get this rolling!  th and Brasen is so excited about it.  He can't wait to do his part to help find a cure!  What a joy it is to see God at work in his life!  He wants to help others and see lives changed.  Pray for us as we get this rolling! 



BTW- Judaen is a precious gem himself!  Great!  Always keeping us laughing and so in love with his brother!  He is onry though! 

Life is good, WE ARE OKAY!
