Catching UP!!!!!

Let's see my last real post was in January- time has flown by so quickly!  I'm going to try to give you a quick glimpse into our lives over the last 9 months, then maybe I'll feel better about not blogging and stay in the mood to blog.  My biggest reason for not blogging is bc I'd find a mood, or do something that I'd want to blog about but without a computer at home I can't upload pics quickly and it takes too much effort.  Okay, now that this is off my chest I feel better.... Here we go!

In January:
  • Judaen was just turning one... we had a great party surrounding him with family and friends who love him so much!
  •  January also brought about alot of trips to the doctor.  Judaen came down with RSV, ear infection after ear infection, and the common cold.

 In February:
  •  We did a prayer and fasting at our church for 40 hours- the whole church took one hour out of our day and came to the church to pray for the whole hour, and fasted the 40 hours.  We were challenged to do a time that was inconvenient for us- I choose 10 p.m. and Ryan did 3 a.m.  We had a funeral dinner to prepare during the fasting period, but this was by far the coolest thing I've done for my faith EVER!!!!
          • Ryan and I were in a wedding for a couple who is very near and dear   to our hearts!
  • We also spent Valentines' Day surrounded by many other couples from the church at our annual Couples Valentine Dinner- always a blast!
  • Brasen enjoyed a Valentine party at preschool
  •  More dr. appt's

 In March:
  •  More Dr. Appt's
  •  Surprise luncheon for Aud's bridesmaids, she surprised them by asking them to be in the wedding but they thought they were there to surprise her with an engagement party.  So fun!!!
  •  Our church started Prayer Meetings in the homes of different couples in the church- we're blessed by opening our home to those willing to come and pray openly with us!
  • We found out Judaen needed tubes put in.
  • The boys and I went with my mom and Aunt Aud'r to the circus in town.  The boys loved it!

In April:
  •  I went on a business trip to St. Louis and had a great time, but sure did miss my boys!
  • Ryan was in a wedding for a couple at church- so awesome to see God at work!
  •  Brasen and I participated in the March of Dimes walk in town and the Bowl for Youth event at the local bowling alley.
  •  Aunt Aud'r's Bday
  •  Another bridal shower
  •  Judaen was sent to a pulmonologist at Riley- he has ASTHMA.  My poor sick baby!!!
  • We went dress shopping for Aud & Cesar's wedding!!!!! :)

 In May:

  •  Brasen graduated from Preschool- he's getting so big!
  • Judaen and I attended grandma's church mother/daughter banquet- not quite the same with a son, but still cool! ;)
  • We attended several open houses for graduating seniors that we miss very much!
  • We went to the zool with as a family and had a good time together!

In June:
  •  Ahh flip-flops, how I've missed you!!!!  I love my flip-flops!
  • We attended my cousin's wedding.  It was a beautiful outdoor wedding and we had an amazing time as a family!  Much needed mini vacation!
  • Lots of follow up dr. appt's for our little man
  • VBS- awesome time, awesome decorations, awesome kids, even AWESOMER GOD!  That's a word right?  AWESOMER????

    In July:
  • We had our annual 4th of July cookout- lots of good food, fun, and fireworks!
  • Ryan, Cesar, Audra, and I headed to Kings Island right after church one Sunday and had a blast!
  • More Dr. Appt's
  • Summer cookouts
  •  Bday parties

In August:
  • Brasen started Kindergarten- wow how times flies!
  • More dr. appt for Judaen
  • Bridal Showers for Aud & Cesar  (the picture to the left is my latest creation)

In September:
  •  Getting ready for the bachelorette party
  •  Our Church turns 85 this year, so we're celebrating that.

I hope this didn't bore you if you chose to read it, but now I feel better- I'm at least all caught up and will do just a single blog on my kiddos' in the next blog I post.
